“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth… all things were created by him, and for him:  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist” (Col 1:16-17).  By Him all things were created to continually consist and exist. “In the Beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” No God – No Beginning

The world sees flocks and coveys of over 200 to 400 billion birds, but God sees the exact number and knows when there is one less (Matt.10:29). The world sees many heads of hair that average between 90,000 and 150,000 hairs. Naturally, some have less, and some have much less. but God not only sees heads of hair, but He knows the exact number of hairs on your head (Luke 12:7). The world sees the vast un-numerable and uncountable infinite stars but God knows the exact number of stars and calls each one by name (Psa.147:4). The shepherds put all their sheep together in the city sheepfold, when they leave, the strolling shepherd gives a certain call and only his sheep respond to his voice. Amazing! The sheep know his voice and the shepherd knows each of His sheep by name.  “I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine” (John 10:14). “But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.  (John 10:3).

At one time the world population was only eight people (Gen. 7:13). Today, for the first time the world population exceeded eight billion people (8,106,672,020) (2024) – Worldometer. Population of: Georgia 11,029,227 (2024). Dade County 16,081 (2022). Trenton 2,199 (2022). Canary Ave 11 families. 235 Canary Ave two, Ted & Carlene Camp and one fat cat.

Today man sees the masses and multitudes of over eight billion people, but God sees the individual man. As the Great and Good Shepherd the Lord knows each one that is His by name, and they know His voice. One day He will give a shout to gather his sheep out of the 8,106,672,020 and all who died “in” Christ. Notice there are only two groups of people: (1) Those “in” Christ (1 Thess. 4:16-18). (2) Those “in” Adam (Rom. 5:12) without Christ. “That at that time ye were without Christ … having no hope, and without God in the world” (Eph. 2:12). My friend, you may be “in” a church, but are you “in” Christ? “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead “in” Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive (in Christ) and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words” (1Thess. 4:16-18).

BTW: If the Lord returns today,
tomorrow the only resident at 235 Canary Ave will be one fat cat!
