And We Beheld His Glory

And We Beheld His Glory

We saw Him heal the helpless lame,
We saw Him cure the sick and maimed,
We saw Him free from sin and shame;
And we beheld His glory.

We saw Him heal the hopeless blind,
We saw Him cure the torpid mind,
We saw Him free the sin-confined;
And we beheld His glory.

We saw Him heal the deaf and dumb,
We saw Him cure the violent son,
We saw Him raise the lifeless one
And we beheld His glory.

We saw Him calm a troubled sea,
We saw Him set the prisoner free;
We saw His pow’r o’er death’s decree,
And we beheld His glory.

We saw Him heal the withered hand,
We saw Him evil reprimand,
We saw Him free from Law’s demand,
And we beheld His glory.

We saw Him slip from vicious snares,
We saw Him cry with other’s cares;
We saw Him pray and heard His prayers,
And we beheld His glory.

We saw Him twice increase the bread,
We saw Him die and His blood shed,
We saw Him raised up from the dead;
And we beheld His glory.
