God has chosen to give everyone the freedom of choice. He will not violate His law as He would cease to be God. As the law of gravity cannot be changed, neither can the law of free choice be changed. God wants you to choose to love and obey Him as love cannot be forced on you. Simply put, “The Devil cannot make you sin, and the Lord cannot make you serve.” This unchangeable law began in the Garden of Eden and continues until this day. Adam chose to disobey God. He controlled the choice, but not the consequences. “Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” (Rom 5:12). As we have no choice about our birth, names, height, looks, we also have no choice concerning the law of sin and death placed upon all mankind (Rom.7:21).

As Adam we can control choices, but not the consequences of our choices. After you make the choice you cannot change, re-negotiate, appeal, or undo the consequences.  The greatest power you possess is the freedom of choice so use it wisely. You are not an animal without options and choice. God has given you a mind to think, a heart to know, and a will to decide. Only you have the power to choose the course of your life. Not even God will force you against your will. You should consider the cost of consequences from your choices. God  forgives you instantly, but the consequences and regrets remain. You will reap what you sow, and more than you sow.

Cain, Achan, and David had regrets that could not be removed. It is a law that we are all sinners and need a Saviour. God gave His Son as a sacrifice for our sins (John 3:16). Today there are only two groups of people in this world: “Those without Christ with no hope” (1 Thess. 4:13) and “Those in Christ with hope (2 Cor. 5:17).” You are faced with the law of choice whether you like it or not. You must choose. No one can make the choice for you. Making no choice is still a choice. Decisions determine directions – Directions determine destinations. The unregrettable right choice is Christ the cure of the curse of sin! No one has ever regretted being saved – No one!

You have the power of choice to receive or reject Christ as your Saviour (John 1:12). Christ is the only way to Heaven (John 14:6). It is your choice, but if you die without Christ it would have been better if you had never been born (Mark 14:21). Your choice will bring either rejoicing (Luke 10:20)  or regrets (Luke16:23). You may die unsaved, but you will not die unloved. Remember, you control choices, but not the consequences.

What will be the consequences of your choice? Think about it- Selah!
