The Bible tells about many people, both men and women, who decided to live right for God. Daniel and Joseph were two good examples because they decided to do right no matter what happened. Daniel vowed that he would not do wrong. A king tempted him to sin, but Daniel said no. He decided to keep his life clean and serve God. Potiphar’s wife tried to tempt Joseph with sexual sins, but Joseph said no. Joseph said, “How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” He decided to follow God. Sometimes deaf Christians are tempted to follow the world and sin. Some become weak and fall into sin. Deaf people are also tempted with sexual sins, gambling, drinking, and pornography. The same as Joseph and Daniel, you need to say no to sin. Some deaf Christians act like the world. They have bad habits of tobacco, drinking, cursing, flirting, adultery, dirty books, bad movies, and many other things that could be named. Some watch bad pornography on the Internet. Don’t do it! Deaf people can do right and decide to stop sin.
“If any man defile (make dirty with sin) the temple of God (your body), him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. Let no man deceive (fool) himself.” – 1 Corinthians 3:17-18
Don’t let your body control your life!
The deaf can say “NO” to Sin and “YES” to God!
