Let me state, I do not claim to be a physics scientist or the grandson of Einstein. I am a simple southerner who believes the Scriptures. My research found that all seemed to agree that four things are needed to make all things consist and exist: time – energy – space – matter.
As a Christian, I added a fifth thing, source, because someone or something had to make it happen. Now let us view the amazing first verse in Scriptures, “In the beginning (time) God (Source) created (energy) the heaven (space) and the earth (matter).” Amazing! In this one verse of ten words all five are listed and in their proper sequence.
(1) Time: “In the beginning” when it happened.
(2) Source: “God” is the Source/Originator/Designer. Simple logic: “In the beginning God” without God there would be no beginning.
(3) Energy: “Created” Energy was necessary to create light, air and nature to exist and be self-existing.
(4) Space: “The Heaven” which still has an infinite and isolated space.
(5) Matter: “The earth.” Matter is that of which anything is made. Man makes things from matter that exists. God creates things from nothing which did not exist. Note: There first had to be empty space to place all matter.
The Scriptures give the undeniable Source of creation: “For by him were all things created (not made), that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible… or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist” (Col. 1:16-17). Simply put, by Him all things consist and exist.” All things simply means all things, and all means all. God rested on the seventh day, but rest means He ended His creations. What God created in six days continues to consist (stay together) and also be self-existing without assistance until this day.
Why did God do this? “All things were made for Him.” We were made by and for God, but God made all things for you. God loves you! When you say, “God I love you.” He could reply, “That’s why I made you.” God put a longing within your soul that only He can fill and satisfy (Psa. 107:9). Many seek to fill their empty, longing soul with power, pleasure, and all things, but only God can fill your empty longing soul (Rom. 5:1). Adam separated us from God but Jesus Christ restores and returns us to God (Rom. 5:12; 19). All things were created for you, but you were created for God. God loves you, you, and even you. “For God so loved the world (you), that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Believe and receive Jesus Christ and you will know the true purpose of life (John 1:12; Rom. 5:1). Accept the Scriptural truth that all things begin and all things end with God. We continue to consist and exist because of God.
No God – No Peace. Know God – Know Peace.
They have gods that do not see, hear, speak, walk, or touch (Deut. 4:28; Psa. 115:2-8). – Our God not only sees, hears, speaks, walks, touches (Psa. 34:15), but also has a heart (Gen. 6:6).
Christians can sing, “Yes Jesus loves me.” – Those who serve gods cannot sing, “Yes, Buddha, Muhammad, Confucius, unknown gods loves me.” – TC
