Recently our song director, Joe Gaddis, made a statement about the stress of nights then said, “I’m looking forward to the time when there will be no more night.” I then thought of Rev 21:23 “And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon…for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.” Revelation 22:3-5, “And there shall be no more cursebe no night there ..the Lord God giveth them light…These sayings are faithful and true.” No more curse. Why? Adam was the cause of the curse (Rom. 5:12) and Jesus is the cure of the curse (Gal. 3:13). What Adam lost Jesus restores (Rom. 5:19). No more night. Why? The Lamb is the Light. Then I thought of more no mores! “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men.. he will dwell with them… And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death… sorrow… crying … pain …former things are passed away…I make all things new” (Rev. 21:3-5).

It seems Scriptures reveal more of earthly life than eternal life.  Paul states that at death we are absent from the body and present with Lord (2 Cor. 5:8).  Notice there are only six no mores mentioned (curse, night, death, sorrow, crying, pain) but these six no mores involve and include many more no mores. No more death, sorrow, crying and pain also means no more funerals, sickness, cancer, deafness, blindness, handicaps, Alzheimer, wars, heartaches, hospitals, medications, nursing homes, or ICU. BTW: Jesus interrupted every funeral He attended, even His own.

True and faithful Scriptures state that God will make “all things new.” This means all past old things will be removed and no more remembered. We can say “Good-Bye” to past things and “Hello” to all new things. No more simply means forever, always, and eternally gone. No mores will be no more. This is far beyond our earthly comprehension of eternal things. “But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him” (1 Cor. 2:9). So, wonder what God has prepared and has waiting for us! Just think about it! “…just think of stepping on shore – And finding it Heaven! Of touching a hand -And finding it God’s! Of breathing new air -And finding it celestial! Of waking up in glory -And finding it home!” Quozio Quote: Don Wyrtzen.   If so, you can imagine Heaven. Think of… waking up in glory – And finding it home! Even so, come, Lord Jesus – Amen” (Rev. 22:20). Just think of it! “Together – Forever!” The End – No! The Beginning! No More Forevermore!
