“All for One – One for all” was made famous in the novel “The Three Musketeers.” As they touched their swords together they said, “All for One – One for All.” The Bible also has this “motto.” “For as we have many members in one body… So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ” (Rom. 12:4-5; 1Cor. 12:12). In other words, “All for One – One for All.”  All for One:  Shows no partiality. One for All: Shows likemindness (Rom. 15:5). All for One: Means no one is neglected, overlooked, left behind or forgotten. Each one is placed in the position on the team as it pleases the Lord. There should be no conflicts or competition (1Cor.12:18). One for All: Means if one suffers or rejoices, all should bear and share with them (1Cor.12:26). One for All: Shows no favoritism as no one chooses their positions. Example: Electricity flows in a home to produce power as and where needed. It makes ice in refrigerators, heat in stoves and power flows to many unseen places. The stove accepts its position and does not seek to be a refrigerator or vice versa. You are successful when you help the body to succeed.

Be pleased where you are placed. A servant does not have the right to pick his place or position. The one body is grateful for all its members. You may be unseen, but you are not unused because all are needed. All members help the body to serve as one without divisions or schisms (1 Cor.1:10). As an orchestra, All should flow in concert as One, and One should be in unity with All (Psa. 133:1).

All for One – One for All  can evangelize (Mark 16:15) the world and edify (Eph. 4:12) the church. I need you, you need me, and we both need the Lord. All for One – One for All makes great teams. One can do much but many can do much more. Many Minds Multiply Ministries. Coach Woodall said, “It takes five players to make a basket.” “One can win a game but many win championships.” TEAM = Together Everyone Accomplishes More. All for One – One for All synergizes the church together to say, “The gates of hell shall not prevail against us” (Matt. 16:18).  YOU are U-nique! So be who you is, cuz, if you ain’t who you is, then you is who you ain’t. If you are a toe instead of a nose, be the best toe you can be because you affect the body. Don’t do less than your best. So as the Musketeers, “Let’s touch our Bibles and yell, “All for One – One for All – Y’All.”
