I talk about eternity
And those now bound for Hell;
But little do I do to go
And them the Gospel tell.
I talk about my burdened soul
For those now lost in sin;
But little do I thus attempt
Their soul to quickly win.
I talk about the mission field,
But rarely do I go
To those in danger of Hell’s fire
That’s waiting them below.
I talk a lot, but talk is cheap,
When nothing’s ever done;
Oh, when will I my words attend
And tell them of God’s Son?
