What is love? Google: Love is an intense feeling of deep affection, kindness, tenderness, intimacy, attachment,  endearment, devotion, passion, desire, romance towards someone. As the Scot said, “Love is better felt than telt.” Love is something you experience but cannot explain. Love is when a certain person captivates, compliments,  cultivates, consumes, and completes you. When absent they still remain present in your thoughts and heart. Many loves are known and shown: Self “me” love – Significant love for your mate – Special love for  children, grandchildren, family and friends – Select love for sports (guys), styles (girls) – Sacred love for country – Spiritual love for God, Jesus Christ, Scriptures, church and friends.

What is love? One man told me, “I love pizza, football, my dog, my truck, and my wife, and it does not have to be in that order.” Dennis the Menace said, “I love her. She smells like peanut butter.” Some say love makes the world go round. Some say love makes you flushed, lightheaded with a tingling feeling, Well, so does Covid. My Love Message: Love Knows (John 13:35). Love Shows (I John 3:18). Love Glows (Matt. 5:16). Love Goes (Mark 16:15). Love Flows (Phil. 1:5). Love Owes (John 15:13). Love Grows (2 Cor. 5:17). What is Love? Some think that love is when someone gives and provides them things. But the best things are not things, but people. “Don’t love things, love people.” You can give without loving but you cannot love without giving. “For God so loved the world that he gave…”

What is Love? Love is doing right. Love is a choice. Love endures. Love never fails. Love sacrifices. Love forgives. Love loves. Love is the greatest of these and always abides (1 Cor. 13:1-13). Love is understood in all languages. “By this (love) shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another” (John 13:35). Fact: You cannot find love, but love finds you. Everyone loves to be loved – Everyone! I have learned that there is no substitute for sincere special love that is known and shown. God does not love you for what you do or don’t do, but because of Who He is. God loves you because God is love (1 John 4:8). If God did not love you, He would cease being God (1 John 4:8;16). God loves you, you, and even YOU. Dear friend, “You may die unsaved, but you will not die unloved.” This is the love of God.
