“Be careful for nothing (don’t worry); but in every thing by prayer and supplication (ask God) with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep (guard) your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”Philippians 4:6-7
Deaf: During these troubled times, don’t look to others for peace in your heart. Peace only comes from God. Some go to Google instead of God. As I study my Bible and pray. God gives me peace. As I think on good things, God gives me peace. As I do and practice what I have learned I find peace. Don’t waste your time thinking about bad things that frustrate you. Both your heart and mind should focus on good things. Don’t focus on problems but focus on the peace of God. Notice verses 8-9:
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true… honest… just… pure…lovely… of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.”
So do “these” and “those things” and the peace of God shall be with you. It works not only for the hearing but also for Deaf people. I know because I am Deaf and I have His Peace!
