“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6:9).  Have you ever been weary? Yes! There are weary times in all our lives. Weary means to be tired, fed-up, disgusted, discouraged, or losing heart. Notice “in well doing.” Can you become weary in doing good things? Yes! Are there times you just do not feel like going to church, singing, praying, witnessing, or doing good things? Yes! Who has never been weary? No one! We are to overcome weariness because we will reap in due season.  Reaping is only promised to those who did not quit. When you faint (quit), you become useless and unprofitable. When you faint, you will never reap in due season. Notice reaping is only for  those who faint not. It is sad many will never know what they could have done.  If you quit, you will always have regrets of what might have been. Your due season could be soon, but if you quit you will never know. “If you fall seven times and get up eight times you will never fail” – Paul Harvey. Those who quit have later regrets and remorse. Some read their Bible in tears knowing they will never be used of God again. No one names their son “Demas.” Count the cost of quitting. I have never seen a happy quitter – never!

What is a failure? A failure is not someone who fails but someone who quits. Did you ride the bicycle the first time you tried? No. You try again and again. At this time, you may be facing much opposition and obstacles. But do not quit. We all face tragedies. Why should you be an exception? Others have overcome and so can you.  Success is not determined by what it takes to start you but what it takes to stop you. Quitters never win and winners never quit.  It is not what happens to you, but what happens in you that makes the difference. “The secret of success of everyone who has been successful lies in the fact of doing things that failures don’t like to do” – Albert Gray. So when you don’t feel like reading your Bible, read your Bible. It will be a special time. When you don’t feel like praying, pray. That will be when you ring the glory bells of Heaven. When you don’t feel like going to church, go to church. That will be when the message is just for you.  When you don’t feel like going on visitation, go visit. When you don’t feel like singing, let er’ rip. You will enjoy it! Learn to keep going and going even when you don’t feel like it. Get up, get over it, and get on with life!! Be an overcomer. God has seven promises to those who overcome in Revelation 2-3! Don’t be overcome. Decisions determine directions – directions determine destinations. What is a failure? A failure is someone who quits. So don’t stop, don’t quit, don’t give up, don’t give in and you will never fail
