INHERITANCE – Means what is received by a will or from your family as an heir. It is received apart from any merit of the receiver. He does not earn it, he simply receives it because he is a family member. Christians are born into the family of God and will also experience an inheritance from their Heavenly Father (I Pet. 1:4; Eph. 1:13-4).
INSPIRATION – Means inspired by God or breathed out from the Holy Spirit. Inspiration is the work of the Holy Spirit to control minds and hearts of those who penned the Scriptures so they wrote exactly what God wanted them to write. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God” (II Tim. 3:16-17). All means all.
INTERCESSION – Means to stand in the place of another. The Lord intercedes between man and God (Heb. 4:14-16). Christians can also intercede for others (Colossians 1:9).
ISRAEL – The name Israel appears the first time in the Bible when God renamed Jacob to Israel (Genesis 32:28). The name means a prince having power with God. Jacob had twelve sons who became known as the twelve tribes or sons of Israel (Jacob). The name Israel (Jacob’s name was changed to Israel) still remains as the name that represents the Jewish Nation.
