SWM’s Missionaries to the Deaf, Bud & Jenna Ring and their daughters (CANADA), while visiting supporting churches in Alabama, helped SWM with landscaping and other important needs for a week. What’s Up? The 9th annual Deaf Men’s Gathering, at the Amigo Center, Sturgis, Michigan, was attended by 23 Deaf men, with guest speaker Pastor Joe Dixon. The 10th annual gathering will be May 31 – June 2, 2024, with guest speaker, Steve Dye. (Submitted by Chris Bywater)

What’s Up? Urgent Prayer Request: Please pray for SWMI Missionary to the Deaf and Special Needs in Liberia, Monique Lindsey. She developed physical problems in Liberia, and her doctor required her to return to the States for further help. Since returning, she has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is under the care of a special medical team. She is undergoing treatment in her hometown in New York. She is trusting the Lord for His will for her life. She longs to return to Liberia, where her “heart” remains.

What’s Up? New friend, Steve Daniel did cosmetic work by grinding a big cedar stump at SWM left by the 2020 Easter tornado in Trenton. It was very unsightly. Note: For locals who need big ugly stumps ground, call him at 423-443-6012 (mobile). BTW: “Thank you Steve” for grinding the big stump in my yard – Carlene greatly appreciates it and so do I – TC.
