The Silent Word Ministries Community Sign Language Class is for people living in and around Dade County, Georgia. This class will start with the ABC’s and teach around 300 signs needed to communicate with Deaf people. Everyone is welcome.
This annual class is conducted at Silent Word Ministries as a public service to promote deaf awareness in our community. Business men and women, nurses, restaurant workers, and students have benefited from these classes in previous years. Whether you are a beginner or want to improve your signing skill, this class will help you communicate with Deaf people.
Everyone Welcome! (Ages 12 and below must be accompanied by a responsible adult.) Class size is limited. Register early.

The Community Sign Language Class instruction is free.
However, there is a $5 charge for the Loxy the Fox book (class manual). The cost helps us print more deaf ministry materials.
If you have attended this class before and still have your old book, you are welcome to bring it. Please be advised that page numbers may have changed due to revisions.
